🎃👻 Our Fall Festival & Haunted Hayride is Almost Here! 👻🎃

We are getting closer to one of our favorite events of the year, and we're stepping things up this year! 💜💛

We have some exciting things planned, including:

🎃 A Silent Auction

🎯 Games and Food in the gym

🌽 An Inflatable Corn Maze outside

🚜 And, of course, our Haunted Hayride!

Our PTO has some exciting plans to add animatronic Halloween decorations throughout the hayride, but we all know that real people make it even scarier and more fun! 👻

That's where we need YOUR help! We're looking for volunteers who are willing to dress up as spooky characters along the hayride route or help run games during the festival.

Whether you enjoy giving people a good scare or would rather help with the games, there's a place for you!

If you're willing to help make this year's event our best one yet, please sign up using the link below!

What a fun way to practice math! Our 4th graders researched destinations across North Carolina, then added the mileage for each round trip to practice adding numbers greater than 100. We loved bringing social studies into our math lesson! 🗺️➕

📚💜💛 We are so thankful! 💛💜📚 Atlantic Elementary is incredibly grateful for the generous anonymous donation made through the Education Foundation to purchase new books for our school library! This gift will help us add new and exciting books to our shelves and put more great stories into the hands of our Pirates. 🏴‍☠️📖 Thank you for investing in our students and helping foster a love of reading at AES. Picture Day Tomorrow!

Lots of red, white and blue in the building for Constitution Day.

🔴🟠🟡 Happy Dot Day! 🟢🔵🟣 Our classes had a great time celebrating International Dot Day today! 🎨⚫️ Our first graders even broke out the watercolors to create their own colorful masterpieces and make their mark! 🖌️✨ We love seeing our Pirates use their creativity, imagination, and confidence to see where their own “dot” might take them! ❤️🏴‍☠️
