ABOUT OUR PRINCIPAL
Greg Guthrie is a Carteret County Native. Born and raised in Carteret County, Mr. Guthrie began teaching and coaching in Onslow County in 1987, before returning home to teach and coach in 1993. Since 2000, Mr. Guthrie has served in roles as Athletic Director, Asst. Principal, and Principal. He has served at Atlantic Elementary, "Home Of The Pirates", as Principal since 2015. Mr. Guthrie loves to trout fish, and spend time with his wife Kathy, daughters Stephanie and Jessica, and son Dixon, who attends UNC-Wilmington.
